It was fine enough. I stayed at the River Inn years ago and thought it was very elegant. It needs a bit of a rehab now.
Everything was clean and tiny but the sink in the bathroom had lots of cracks, warm water took forever, not enough plugs, it’s ok and was cheap the night I stayed. Dog friendly, which is good.

We always enjoy our stays at The River Inn. One huge perk for us is that it is pet friendly with no extra fee. Walking distance to Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s and great shopping in Georgetown. Each room has a full kitchen too.
