The room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. The included breakfast was great. The location directly next to Trim Castle was really convenient. We would have used the spa if it was open later than 7pm.

Hotel was very nice and conveniently located. With bar area under construction, the social atmosphere was a bit lacking. Food was phenomenal, the lamb shank in the Jules restaurant was the best I had in Ireland. The security is a bit concerning, a staff member let an unknown guest into our room at 4:15am which was extremely disturbing and resulted in a very unrestful 2 hour period afterwards wondering if someone else would be unknowing entering our room. Typical remediation in the US would be either 50% or even full compensation of the room reservation. Front desk offered a sincere apology on checkout but does not exactly compensate for the lack of use for what we paid.

Had a 2 night stay at the Trim Castle Hotel. Wonderful hotel with fab views of the castle. Lovely food and generally a truly lovely stay. Just wish the rooftop thermal pools had been open but it’s not ready until June. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you
