It's nice, but don't believe everything you read
It is a nice hotel in an alley next to a park... if you want to see the park, get a room above the 2nd floor. The pool is mostly for show as it is in the parking lot and is two lounge chairs wide. The separate seating area in the room is a chair with a small desk. It says washer and dryer as an amenity in the room and it's not!!! They have overpriced laundry machines on premise. Finally while it is a new hotel with a comfy bed, it really isn't near anything... not a lot restaurants in the area and about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the mrt station... even though that say they have a shuttle to it, it only runs in the morning.. I'm pretty certain there are better places for the same money

Love this hotel which is so clean and service staff are all so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great with wide selection of main course. The complimentary tuk tuk to BTS station is useful. Would be better if water pressure for shower is increased so that rain shower can work effectively.

舒適安靜的飯店
喜歡房間的舒適性,床很好睡,也有一大面落地窗可以看外面景色(我住高樓層城市景房),雖然離捷運站有一點距離,但是大概步行10分鐘左右就可到達,還在允許的範圍內,位於小巷子中,所以環境安靜不吵雜,飯店環境簡單乾淨,下次會再選擇這裡住宿

Absolutely loved our stay at the hotel!
Absolutely loved our stay at the hotel. So peaceful and quite . The reception staff and the security staff was so kind and nice to us. The breakfast spread was simple but soo tasty. Only thing we had there was no Halal meat available but other than that everything was perfect.

It was a hotel with a really great pool. I left with a lot of really good memories. I regret staying only one night. I plan to stay more leisurely next time I visit Bangkok. I was happy because I was able to take a lot of great pictures thanks to the pool^^

Worth a second visit
No need to repeat myself (I thought the Livable Hotel Bangkok was superb), the second visit was great. Aside from the wonderful staff (giving us umbrellas when it was raining) greeting and feeding us, the park view makes for a serene visit. The location is convenient and for Bangkok, quiet. So close to Victory Monument and the food and shopping, but peaceful too.

Residential Feel to Livable Hotel Bangkok
Our first three nights were at the Livable Hotel Bangkok.  We used it as a base to acclimate ourselves to Bangkok.  Stayed in a Superior Double Room with park view, and added the breakfast. Room was quiet and bed was very comfortable. They cleaned the room each day with new water bottles. The room has 2 USB ports, and universal power outlets. We used our North American plugs, so buying an adapter is unnecessary.   Fabulous breakfast.  You pick an entree from about 10 choices, and then help yourself to the buffet with fruits, salad, breads and beverages. During our three days, the herbal tea changed each day, along with the fruits and small tea sandwiches.  We never ventured out of the nearby area during our stay. We went to the walkable Thai Vaccine Clinic (starting a backpack trip) and Suan Pakkad Palace. Easy walks, even in the heat.  The park next to the hotel is Suan Santi Phap,  and is an amazingly serene place. Lots of song birds, monitor and fish near the lakes, with a walking tract all beautifully landscaped. The park has gates, so it closes at 9pm. Nearby is the Victory Monument and CenterOne Shopping mall. Nice food court and restaurants.  Also a small night market adjacent under the BTS Victory Monument.   Livable Hotel Bangkok is accessed via an alley. It is actively travelled by pedestrians, motorcycles and vehicles. It is narrow, so everyone needs to be alert, but I felt safe.  Hotel has courtesy Tuk Tuk which we took upon departure.

Very clean, modern, nice amenities for the price. Staff are polite and couteous. Park view is pretty. Neighborhood is urban but not as hectic and boozy as more touristy areas. Walk to Victory Monument is doable but not with much luggage. King Power food court is good but a bit pricey.
