Convenient as we needed to get on the feery to Denmark early in the morning. Hotel & food were good. Bartender was not very knowledgeable about anything Norwegian.

Morning buffet needs work

The rooms were really small for a family of 4 but we made it work. We had to have a baby crib in the room for our youngest which made it a bit tighter. One of the biggest issues was the breakfast. There was no one by the door telling people where to sit, so people were just walking around looking for tables which made it a lot more hectic. Both mornings we had to ask for the table to be cleaned because the employees were focused on other tasks. The second morning we were there (Saturday) was pandemonium. There were actually people standing and eating on the tables where the buffet food is placed instead of waiting for a table. I found this quite disgusting/unsanitary, but the staff didn’t ask them to move.

Distance for going to Dyreparken is perfect. We found a half eaten bag of sweets in our bed, makes you wonder if they even changed the sheets before our stay. Property is due for renovations. We got only 1 towel for 3 guests. There could have been more options at the breakfast buffet.

Greit opphold om enn dårlige forhold for søvn

Veldig greit hotell. Litt styr med alle hundeeierene som hver morgen tok med hundene ut for å lufte dem 06.00 og lot dem bjeffe uhemmet og vekke alle som bodde på hotellet. I tillegg lå hotellet på rulleruten til russen. Med bass og musikk til klokken 04.00 og hundene som bjeffet fra kl 06 ble det i underkant lite søvn

Super service

Hotellet hadde super service. Gjennomsnittlig godt renhold. Men verken bedre eller dårligere enn andre hotell i norge. Det som gjorde den store forskjellen og gjorde oppholdet til noe spesielt var service hos personalet. Her kunne mange i servicebransjen i norge dratt på kurs å lært noe av #scandic sørlandet. Takk for fint opphold.

Ok rom, skuffende middag, god frokost.

Helt ok hotellrom, men vi hadde vindu ut mot parkeringsplass og vei, og det var mye støy fra biler med høy musikk ganske sent på natten, og det var slitsomt på tur med barn. Middagsbuffeten var også ekstremt skuffende i forhold til prisen, og sønnen min på 12 år måtte betale voksenpris, selv om han spiser mindre enn datteren min på 8 år. Frokostbuffeten var veldig god.
