2 Sept 2026Stayed for 7 nights with family. Our suite was modern, well equiped and spotlessly clean. Plenty of space for the 5 of us with a very large balcony facing the mountains. Meiringen itself is a lovely town with plenty of places to eat out together with a Coop and another local supermarket. Very safe and not a spot of litter in the streets, lovely and peaceful for late evening walks. We hired a car and were out every day exploring the surrounding area although next time we would consider opting for the travel pass instead of a hire car since the public transport system is so good and gondola rides can start to add up. Meiringen train station is a short walk from Swisspeak Resorts.
Overall, a lovel stay at Swisspeak resorts which is a great place to base yourself if exploring the wider area. Would highly recommend.

27 May 2026Staff at check in was so pleasant and helpful. She went out of her way to help us with the laundry machines. Our apt was spotless and very comfortable. Views were stunning as we sat on the huge balcony. Very well equipped kitchen. Definitely rate this a 10+. I hope we can return someday

5 Jul 2026Great location with stunning views from the balcony, very close to the Meiringen train station, Coop, Migros and several restaurants at a walkable distance.
Apartment is specious and clean. Even though we were there during a heatwave, inside the apartment was comfortable as it has good ventilation. We got two fans as we had booked two rooms. There's a shared laundry facility that you need to reserve and plan in advance to make use of it.
Reception hours are limited, so if you arrive outside the reception hours, you would be stranded outside which seems to be strange.

4 Apr 2026Perfect for families. The apartment was clean and warm thanks to underfloor heating. The kitchen was functional however it doesn’t come with a microwave. We were near the train tacks but could barely hear any noise since our bedrooms were on the opposite side. The resort is placed in a strategic position, and it is close to migros and coop (supermarket). Meiringen is a quiet place perfect to experience the locals lifestyle.

17 Jun 2026Overall the location and resort was good. We were unaware it is a serviced apartment that we would even have to load the dishwasher - and put away the dry dishes- before we left. Reception/check-in desk is not always open so make sure you check hours. We didn't have any soap in our room. Asked on day 2 but it was still not sent. Basic amenity for a 2-night stay for 4 people when we were even charged an extra "resort" fee.

Excellent location for a family vacation. Staff and hotel were excellent. The apartments are well maintained, clean and with everything needed. Close to many places within the area that are worth visiting. Would come back.
Only con would be some loud and disruptive neighbors during our stay but the staff made everything possible to quiet things to great success.

21 Jul 2025Property was nice, newly built, clean and very near to the station. The only challenge that we felt was checking in check out. Signs were really very strict with travellers coming long way. I think there should be still some flexibility in terms of checking and check out timings. Also, the laundry timings was very specific which did not allow us to do the laundry as per our convenience.

As a tourist, feeling like resting and enjoying, but this felt like we had to do lot of work cleaning and setting things up. Seen so many bugs inside the house and there is no proper air conditioning. We didn't have a pleasant sleep. There was a park for lids to play in which was convenient for us though.

Only thing we didnt liked : the apartment dont give you a feeling of a clean apartment and the bathroom had a weired smell all the time.
You have to book the laundry in advance, they do give you detergent and laundry access cards for a fixed charge.
Kitchen if fully equipped with all the utensils.
Train station is just next to the building, Grocerry and other things nearby.

14 Aug 2026A nice stay but wasn’t overly impressed. Asked for a ground floor room and booked well in advance but was allocated a second floor room on arrival. They also take a very high deposit and it isn’t instantly returned on departure. No air conditioning. In this hot summer the rooms were unbearably hot. £15chf for parking per day is also a bit of a cheek in a small town like Meiringen. No room cleaning during stay. Bathroom toiletries very limited and one roll of toilet paper and if you run out you have to buy your own!
