It was a very convenient hotel to visit many popular areas of Kyoto. I wish there was a dedicated eat-in area since there are so many conbinis nearby for an easy meal. It was very clean but please not that laundry service is only for guests staying at least 4 days.

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Great location. A lot of restaurants and shops around there. And public transportation is great. The room is tiny but good enough for basic needs. Affordable price with great service. I think I will come back again while I travel in Kyoto in future.

In a busy area during the day and evening, this hotel is surprisingky quiet. I had the luvk of a room on the 14th floor with stunning view. Syores are within walking distance, food area as well. And as many other tourists, we took the early public transport to visit the many temples, zengarden and royal palace.

The hotel is just a few steps from the most popular shopping center in Kyoto. There are plenty of restaurant options nearby, and transportation is right at the door. Our room was spacious by Japanese standards, with two very comfortable beds. The temples aren’t very close but are walkable (about an hour). A taxi from the train station to the hotel and from the hotel to the temples costs about $10–$12.
