Beautiful setting
This hotel is nicely set up in the mountains with lots of big tall green trees around and a nice gardening from front. The check-in was a little different as you did it online something I’ve not done before and it uses a key code. Even though you do not see any people when you check in if you call the hotel, you can Required supplies quickly. Oh, so it’s not that
Sundial bridge in Reading glass bottom you can walk across it offers nice views of the Sacramento river and it actually tells accurate time between 11 am and 2 pm

Okay stay
The room was clean but we thought (from the photos) that there’d be a kitchenette-not so. Overall, okay for the price.

Stay was fine. The only thing I didn’t like was that there wasn’t a lobby with a physical person, you had to call a person on the phone with any issues and the Person never answered right away so I had to wait 10-15 minutes to get a call back.

Unfortunate chaos.
Travel lodge with 80s vibe. Clean room and pool. Adequate for a quick overnight in between driving. Beware that this lodge is part of an RV park with long term and short term residents, also mobile homes. There were frequent power outages during this stay that were not handled well be park manager/owner/or permanent residents. The breaker box was on the back of the building to room 7 (my son and my room); angry, swearing resident and loud, barking dog were heard loudly every time power went out (4-6 times in less than 8 hours.)

Very easy check in and out. Great communication. We really liked the separate kitchen, the living room and the bedroom setting. We also liked having a tv in the living room and the bedroom. Only one negative thing was that AC. There was a one wall AC unit in the living room. It worked great in the living room but the cool air didn’t reach to the bedroom very much. We even had the bedroom door open but the bedroom was still warm. But overall we had a good stay.

Only thing I miss in this otherwise excellent property is on-site staff. A phone cannot substitute for a real person.

Quaint and clean, motor lodge brings you back to what it was like to cross the country by car during the heyday of car travel. The buildings are well cared for, the vintage vibe has flourish in the chairs on the porch of each unit. Dog and kid friendly with big grassy areas, a really nice grilling pergola and some unique wildlife wandering the place. Do keep your dog on leash! We traveled on a 104 degree day and the small but sparkling pool was so welcome! Very clean pool area. The interior was a bit dated, but clean and lots of pillow choices. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great stop!
Family of 4 with young adults traveling north. This was a great stop and location near Shasta Caverns and recreation spots. The "living room" and kitchen were helpful for space and budget (made meals onsite). Pool was refreshing in the 105 degree weather. AC and ceiling fans were a blessing. Hard to tell if management is onsite, however there is a phone available and was quickly tending to when our door wouldn't unlock.

Cute cabin-like stay
We had a great stay and were even welcomed by the welcome kitty. Rustic setting and a working air conditioner which we really needed in the 110 degree heat of the day! The pool was refreshing and clean. Nothing fancy but clean and had everything we needed 🙂
