A unique place to stay in Mike's underground B and B. The place was spacious and comfortable and unlike some guests we were given plentiful breakfast supplies. We would recommend others to stay.

Incredible experience sleeping in the dug out. View from location is beautiful looking over the desert. Rooms and kitchen were clean given how remote this area is. Mobile reception is none and wifi is also intermittent.
Property is good if someone wants to have that unique experience of sleeping in dugout.

It was the first time for us to visit Coober Pedy. The whole underground experience was amazing. It looked like the settings in Star Wars!
My advice is do not arrive there in the dark. It was so hard to find! There were roads but not much street lights so it was a bit scary to drive in the complete darkness.
Bring shampoo and conditioner. They provide soaps though.
The air inside was a bit stuffy. I understand it's underground. No windows and no ventilation. It could be the same anywhere if it's underground accommodations.
I didn't see the air conditioner. They provide a fan. We went there in the early September so it was perfect weather for us.
