Amazing service at a quaint beach side hotel.
It is a small hotel with a rocky beach in Italy and the people that worked there couldn't have been nicer. The lady at the front desk was super helpful and attentive, showing us where everything was, helping arrange transportation for the next day, generally just making us feel welcome, and making the trip so much better. The simple food options they had on site was small, but again the people were friendly and made the experience very nice. Amazing service compared to every other hotel we used on our trip.

It almost fell out of the window frame when we tried to open it. Mirror was broke in the bathroom. Balcony door was broke. This property needs a major maintenance fix.

I would call this hotel a little tired, the bathroom fittings were 'shabby' & although we purposely left the loose toilet seat askew each day it was never repaired. The staff were amazing and the position on the beach perfect, I shall remember soaking up the rays on my sunbed, listening to the waves caressing the shore & the tinkle of the pebbles as the waves retreated for a long time.

It was nice to be at a seaside property but there was much to be desired. The walkway to the hotel entrance is lined with lovely begonias. The hotel personnel was generally pleasant. There are few English speaking staff so be sure to break out your Google translator on your phone. The rooms are small and have a musty smell. The bed mattresses are hard and uncomfortable. The shower stall does not keep the water in the tub area so you have to be mindful of wetting the floor. Breakfast is okay. It’s the same thing each day. The overall stay was okay. I would not return but the essence of it is that you get what you pay for.

Not coming up to the expectations
We booked a room with lateral sea view. The room was at the rear of the building and street noise could be heard day and night from the busy Strada Statale that passes in the front of the hotel. The room and bath room were clean. The furniture and equipment basic but in good shape. However when checking in we found the room as a mosquito den. We asked for an insecticide spray but it was not available. Luckily there is a small supermarket nearby. The breakfast is served on the terrasse facing the sea. Supply of breakfast items that run out was very sporadic. The beach is of round stones and was littered with debris from the previous thunderstorm. No efforts were done to clean it up in front of the hotel.. An outrageous amount of 30€ is charged when using a deck chair even for a few minutes. There is a pizza bar and a gelateria nearby. Next valid restaurants are found 10 minutes drive towards the town. As October is already considered as off season, the hotel restaurant was closed. There is only a few and insufficient parking space available in front of the hotel. We would not stay again in this hotel.
