The accommodation itself wasn’t bad. Since we arrived late for check-in, the accommodation manager allowed us to check in via phone, and we were assigned Room 29.
We had booked a 3-bedroom unit, but when we arrived around 9 p.m., the room we were given was a studio with only one double bed.
The accommodation manager was unresponsive, but there was an emergency contact number posted at the office. When we called, we were told there were no 3-bedroom units available, and they offered two 2-bedroom units instead. We agreed, but when we tried the provided password, the door wouldn’t open. We had to wait outside in the cold with young children for 30 minutes.
The next day, when we went to the office to check out, the staff didn’t even offer an apology. Instead, they asked, “So, do you want a refund?” in a dismissive tone, which was very disappointing. For the record, we neither requested nor received a refund.
