Condom wrapper found in hotel room
Service was great and every employee we spoke to was very helpful and kind. However, during our stay I lost a ring and while looking for the ring I found a condom wrapper underneath the night stand and upon further examination found trash in other areas. I think it is a reasonable expectation to have all areas swept and vacuumed between guests. Finding a condom wrapper in a room you already slept in is incredibly unsanitary and upsetting.

Great hotel, but housekeeping wants you out!
Beautiful, clean room. Only complaint was that Housekeeping banged on and immediately opened our door at 8:20am Sunday morning!! Are you kidding me? Checkout is 11am, calm down lady

Well we first arrived around 7p and that was fine but then they stated they were overbooked by 30 rooms! I booked our hotel over a month in advance and paid for a deluxe king, well with them being overbooked we did not get the room we paid for and were downgraded, without any discount. Other than the front desk and hosts being incapable of doing their job and our room being a little dirty things on the way no trash bags in the trash etc, our stay was great, We ate at the buffet and the food was amazing!! The bar downstairs has good drinks. I recommend if booking with Ameristar please book through their website so you don’t run into any issues with them being overbooked.
