We enjoyed this property for its view of the lake, proximity to restaurants and Doubtful Sound tour operators as well as the size of our room. Our room was a two room suite with balconies facing the lake. The buffet breakfast was wonderful. The hotel is large, somewhat dated but well maintained. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The RealNZ office, our Doubtful Sound tour operator, was only one block away.

Good option for stay, great sauna on site. Rooms are a bit unique, but do the job if you are dropping in to get to Milford. We preferred food in town but had breakfast at the hotel and that had a great assortment of options. Super clean rooms and super helpful staff for requests and concerns. This is not a place I would vacation persay, but a great place to get a good nights rest!
