Never mentioned about Shared washrooms in any of the descriptions. Said 4 sleeps in one room but only 3 can sleep. The bed shown in picture and real are totally different.

Very good customer service. Just a little difficult to stay at night during summer as no Air conditioning system in the room.
Good breakfast and overall service was nice

I have booked this hotel for one night stay in August. Due to our travels, we have arrived around 9 PM. There were no one at the office. The phone numbers were provided to call for Edmonton. It took half an hour to reach someone at these two numbers. Person or the owner on the other line said that we should plan our trip better and arrive on time like other people. There is no room available for us. He acknowledge that they are a small hotel and they don’t check Expedia for the bookings. The owner was giving me a very hard time.
I had to call him numerous times. Meantime it was already 10 PM and we wear on the steps of this hotel. There was quite a dingy and smelly inside the lobby. I must mention that the owner/manager tried to book me a hotel in another town, which was too far out of our way. I have to give him credit for that. I would not recommend anyone staying in this hotel as they did not honor the booking.

I have travelled numerous times to different places and this by far is the worst hotel I have been to. The sheets were dirty, there is no hot water, it feels unsafe, some of the bathrooms were shared that we did not know upon reserving (you have to pay extra for a private bathroom), lack of staff, you can here other guests talking outside the hallway to your bedroom. I don’t mind a hotel being old, I think it gives it a character, but was expecting it to be a little bit more well managed or at least clean and safe for a more pleasant experience. For some reason, I can feel a negative energy in this place and it looks so gloomy. If we had a choice, we would have left the place in a heartbeat even without refund but everywhere else around the area was either sold out or $1000 a night at Quebec City. Like what the other review had said, it feels like a Ghost hotel. Reminds me of The Nun movie. 😁 Goodluck.

Arrived for check in at 6. Power was out. Host did not know I was coming because I booked with Expedia and not directly with them. Told him I was leaving fishing and coming back in the night. He said no problem, I won't lock the door. Came back at 4:30, lights were back.
Door was locked. The bell won't ring. I knocked/banged on the door, called several times even knocked on every windows around the "hotel". Finally reached the host 40 minutes later. I was barely able to talk, nearly crying, I was so cold. Arrived in my room and there is literally NO heat in the room. For reference, I like sleeping at 15 celcius at home. It was wayyyyy lower. Had to sleep with socks on, hoodie on, both thin bedspreads with my head inside the coverlet.
Why did I stay? I booked this hotel so I can drink with my friends at Ste-anne-de-la-perade. I was not ok to drive.
I even thought about calling the police so I don't die in the cold... thats how desperate I was.
Terrible experience. This place should not be recommended or offered at all.
