quite well-kept structure even if the rooms have dirty carpeting and the bathrooms are very old with encrusted sanitary ware. The price for a hotel of this type seems a bit high to me. Peaceful and quiet, it is far from shops, bars and restaurants.

We have been at the Heidehof many times over the past 10 years. You can clearly see that the rooms need to renovated: furniture, carpet and TV old and you see it’s all >10 years old. bathrooms not very clean mainly do to sign of times.

Badkamer was niet goed opgeruimd, zat nog spullen van de vorige gasten. Er zitten schimmels op de tegels. De bedden waren erg zacht. Over algemeen erg sleets en ouderwets. Het personeel was wel heel erg behulpzaam en klantvriendelijk.

Stort værelse med hele tre stole. Det kunne andre hoteller lære noget af. TV lidt lille. Der var badekar på badeværelset. Restauranten havde fornuftige priser. Dog er det ærgerligt at chefens valg stort set er det samme hver dag, når man som os boede der længere tid og gerne ville slutte dagen af i restauranten. De fleste retter er pæne portioner som man sagtens kan blive mæt af - bortset fra deres steak, som er det dyreste på kortet, men også de mindste portioner. Bøffen var lækker, men mindre end en kartoffel på tallerkenen er i underkanten. Morgenmadsbuffet var fin med et pænt udvalg også frisk frugt.

Mooi hotel. Een beetje rumoerig (trein,....), maar met het raam dicht hoor je niets. De laatste paar honderd meter zijn het hotel en de parkeerplaatsen een beetje lastig te vinden. Bewegwijzering niet bepaald optimaal. Ontbijt was goed. Het restauarant was goed. Hebben goed geslapen. Al met al van harte aanbevolen.

Une halte sympathique où nous avons séjourné 2 nuits Nous étions la pour le championnat moto GP à Assen, 6 bikers donc C'est très bien, les chambres ne sont pas climatisées mais nous mîmes en Hollande et c'est normal même si on a crevé de chaud, il y avait des ventilateurs bienvenus dans les chambres Restaurants et bars excellents Le staff est très sympas Le breakfast parfait, c'est un vrai English breakfast Bref, une très belle

Het hotel is toe aan een update, de kamers enz. zijn nog voldoende en alles werkt maar nieuwe bedden en bv een grotere TV zou fijn zijn, hotel ligt aan de rand van Heerenveen maar binnen 5 minuten ( met auto ) ben je in het centrum of bv SC Heerenveen. Koelkast op kamer is altijd een +. Parkeren kan voor de deur en Thialf is aan de overkant van de weg.

Vi har benyttet dette hotel flere gange og har aldrig været skuffet, fra en venlig og imødekommende reception til hjælpsomhed hvis vi har manglet noget, der er leveret de par gange vi har haft brug for det, næste gang vi er i området vil vi booke dette hotel igen.
