Bathroom very clean and bethroom
as well. Staff very friendly. Breakfast is mix Dominican breakfast and American breakfast . Hotel is close to colonial zone.
It would be nice if each room has a microwave.

21 Apr 2026Staff is really friendly. Breakfast for the category is ok. Downside for a 5 floor building having no lift is raltivly difficult when travelling with suitcases. Internet not working most of the times. Hot water does not work very often.

But the room had just one window that looked out into a corridor, the light in the room was way too bright while the light in the bathroom was too dim. Hot water was only available intermittently and the Wifi was very slow in the morning and then again in the evening.

29 Jun 2025The staff is super polite and were very flexible with prepping for my wedding. The hotel is cute and they keep it very clean. Breakfast was surprisingly good and had a beautiful view. It was at a walking distance from everything in the zona colonial and in a quiet safe area. The doors are locked at night for extra safety too. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable stay while exploring the beautiful Santo Domingo.

22 May 2026The staff was very helpful and courteous. My room was okay for the price and type of hotel. This is a budget hotel. Loved my bed. very comfortable. there is no phone in the rooms with which to reach staff. you have to come down to reception to make your requests or ask questions. The AC worked very well. It takes a little bit of patience for the water in the shower to get hot. Paid $20 deposit for the keys to the safe which was returned to me when I checked out. breakfast was between 8am and 10 am and you have to climb to the 5th floor to have it. It was not much. I was disappointed they did not have variety. Had to take an uber to go have a proper breakfast at a local place called Barra Payan. If you are new to Santo Domingo I highly recommend you take the walking tour of the zona colonial, you will learn a lot. I got to see the house where Christopher Columbus lived back in the 14th or 15th or 16th century! Awesome!!!! Overall I will say I like the hotel for the stay but plan to have breakfast elsewhere unless you prefer REALLY LIGHT breakfast.
