This historic building is charming and offers a feeling of stepping back in time, right in the heart of Gettysburg. Location could not be better if you are visiting the battlefield. The bed was very comfortable and the space was adequate for comfort. The parlors are quaint and roomy. The complimentary grab and go breakfast was nice, with homemade muffins included. Coffee was good. I highly recommend the Brickhouse Inn if you enjoy historical charm!

Super cute hotel, very warm and cozy and walkable to all the local shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. Just be nice to the ghost if he pats you on year head like he did me, twice. Then the downstairs lamp in the front room kept turning off and on, on it's own, even after we unplugged it.

The Brickhouse Inn is in a great location and the history of the hotel makes it a cool place to stay. Amenities and comfort are good. They sent me messages 3 times with multiples attachments that was quite confusing since I had to download all of them to realize they were duplicates of each other. They also sent me a message with the door code and then changed it before we arrived. We dithere was yet another message after the change with the old door code. That was quite confusing.

Love staying in historic B&Bs, and if you are into this too, this Inn should be perfect for you. We booked for two nights in August, along with other friends who also booked rooms. Love the location, and sitting on the front porch swings, late into the night. The only set back for us and our friends in the adjacent room was our beds. Ours was extremely hard where a mattress topper may help, while our friend mattress was too soft and they kept rolling toward the sides. An update in the towels would also be a plus.
