This is a unique hotel in an old church conveniently close to Shrewsbury train station, shops, restaurants, and attractions. Everything in the room was new and in good condition- the mini fridge with free refreshments was an appreciated bonus. Service was great, and personal.

What a lovely place to stay great location, we had a lovely room with a lovely view of the library, our room had a a king size bed, and lovely fresh bedding, and very clean spacious room with sofa area, we will be back very impressed. The staff are friendly and helpful. The building is rather old but full of character and with a lovely decor. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the station, very convenient. One thing to be aware of is that they don't start serving breakfast until 8.30am – something to keep in mind if you're planning an early start.

Wonderful stay

My daughter and I stayed for 1 night as we were attending performances at the nearby theatre. The hotel was lovely and we were lucky enough to have what a couple of the staff described as the 'best room'. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was a little soft for my liking, although still comfortable. All staff we encountered were wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The small amount of food we had was a hit, especially with my daughter! We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here over night at weekend, even though in town wasn’t noisy at night. Enjoyed the food and drink menus (breakfast and lunch) the team were really friendly and helpful, service was good even though they were experiencing some technical problems during our stay.
