Beautiful hotel! I stayed with my daughter and was so impressed by the atmosphere and comfort. The restaurant was excellent, with a talented chef and amazing service—special thanks to Ella, who truly made our experience unforgettable. Beautiful property…loved the lobby bar, the prime rib sliders were amazing.
Bed was uncomfortable however, so consider sleeping elsewhere, but certainly come see the lobby and other bars.

Very nice historic landmark with beautiful detail inside. Parking is the typical modern additional guest tax( expensive) to add onto the room rate. Any room below 7th floor on even side will be trash view unfortunately. Very convenient location and beautiful bathrooms in the suits.

Great location and attention to detail on the restoration. Hotel tower is new and nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Being new, a few kinks I work out but overall great experience.

The hotel and staff were greatly. The coffee shop was excellent. The only thing i didn't like is that the shower curtain needs to be 4-5" longer. When i took a shower, water splattered everywhere.

I had an incredible experience at Asher Adams. Every single employee was extremely welcoming, kind and helpful. The restaurant Rouser was delicious. The bar 119 had great ambience and the bartenders were great. This hotel is beautiful and very clean. Will definitely be returning.

Step Back in Time
A beautiful incorporation of a very historic Union Pacific train depot, this hotel offers a thoughtful blend of modern and classic. The restaurant is a delight, with surprisingly fair pricing and attentive service. The upstairs bar is rich with history and views of downtown Salt Lake City. Highly recommended

Did not disappoint!!
Wow. I loved the history, the artwork, the momentous on the wall displays. I know my dad came thru during WW2 the train station, which made this personal to me being there.
The rooms were very comfortable, big fluffy towels!

Paying for the name and location
We feel like we paid for the name and the location. Above average decor, the room functioned like any other place. It was difficult to understand the front desk person with her accent, no matter. Wifi was a purchase unless we signed up for a BonVoy account. No real info about the surrounding area.. eateries, walking tour, shopping, local history. The parking Valet outside was the only person to render unsolicited service by opening the entrance door for us. Small act but appreciated. Won't stay there again.

Nice design with no thought of comfort
Was looking forward to staying here as I knew it was part of restored Union Pacific Station and a new property. The staff and service were great. The room was beautifully "designed" but not much thought to comfort. An open bathroom is ridiculous if two people in the room. No privacy. Bathroom did not have towel hooks or bars so once off the shelf, no place for towel. no shelf or hook in shower either. No waste can in bathroom. Even though a new hotel, you could hear voices on all sides of room. Biggest insult is $10 wifi charge on a $350 room. $45/night parking seems crazy steep for SLC too.
