Great place just 15 mins outside Santiago de Compostela. Lovely old farmhouse beautifully converted into five en suite guest rooms. The main reception / shared lounge is a beautiful room. Host Susana helpful and pleasant. The place is a common resting point for people walking the Camino de Santiago… so we had a great evening sat in the garden sharing a supermarket bottle of wine with some “pilgrims”. . Fantastic experience at the Altair, we were contacted before arrival to confirm our check in time and they then got a room ready early for us. The room itself was extremely large and extremely clean, with a huge bed that appeared to be two queens joined together. Minibar prices were cheap and the room looked very recently renovated, with a lovely combination of wood and exposed brick. Also provided us a kettle and boarding pass printing without charge. Lovely staff.

Great place on the Camino. Nothing at all to dislike. Great breakfast.

beautiful Rural House , nice and clean but our room upstairs is too hot (my mistake didn’t look that they don’t have AC and TV) and noisy ( they have Party surrounding with loud music) otherwise very nice Hotel

Beautiful hotel and food.

We love staying at PR Tambre. The location is superb, the rooms are comfy and clean and the knowledge share by Eva always helps us to enjoy our visit. The staff is fantastic, very polite and friendly. Overall a great place to stay when in Santiago.

This is a small family run hotel. It’s a 10 minute walk into the old town and 15 minute walk to the train station. The rooms are comfortable and cleaned everyday. The hotel does not offer food but there is a restaurant next door and lots of cafes nearby. Parking is in a 24 hour underground parking lot about a 5 minute walk away. The hotel is an historic building but sympathetically renovated. Pilgrims walk past the hotel on the way to the cathedral so if you are undertaking the pilgrimage this...

Perfect location quiet but close to everything, excellent and friendly staff and very comfortable beds

Very good place with short walk to the cathedral but not crowded with tourists. Flat is tidy, superb for family with kids
