We had the most incredible stay at Dive and Sleep Guest House during our diving holiday in early April. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place is something special. The guest house is brand new, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated with a modern yet cozy touch. Our room was spacious and cozy, and in excellent condition – everything felt fresh and thoughtfully designed. What truly set this place apart, though, was the service. It was beyond anything we could have hoped for. The team welcomed us like old friends and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and always inviting. The food was delicious and varied – every meal was a treat! Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there was always something new to enjoy. Diving with *Dive and Sleep* was both safe and unforgettable. Even though we had a bit of a break from diving, the team made sure we were fully comfortable again with a professional and reassuring refresher dive. The dive masters took real care in choosing the perfect dive sites to match our experience and interests. Every dive felt personal, well thought-out, and magical. Who knows—you might even snorkel alongside whale sharks or rays! Divers can look forward to up to three daily dives, exploring underwater marvels in crystal-clear waters. Arriving on Dhidhdhoo, a serene Maldivian island, is an adventure itself—via a two-hour speedboat ride or a 15-minute hop from Maamigili Airport. The warmest welcome awaits at this intimate haven, which I jokingly call “Mal_Dive and Sleep”—a branding gem waiting to be claimed. The island retains its authentic charm, with more locals than tourists. Unspoiled beaches, silent corners, and lush nature make you feel like you have the island to yourself. Here, your companions might be a hermit crab or a curious chicken as you explore pristine sands and calm waters. The accommodation is cozy, featuring just four rooms (eight beds), offering a tranquil, intimate vibe. Nights bring the soothing sounds of the jungle, while days are filled with culinary delights. This is a rare find and we felt very privileged to stay here. The island is a locals island and felt like a real Maldivian experience. As advertised, you can dive 3 times each day which is amazing. The staff are all incredibly lovely and kind. The rooms are perfect for what you need with air con and good Wi-Fi. The food was plentiful and really tasty. If you’re up for an adventure and don’t feel the need for a polished version of the Maldives then this is the place to be. Cultural appropriation is important here and you won’t be sipping beers in the evening but you definitely won’t be disappointed. My 14yr old daughter was taught to dive and given the opportunity to do her PADI course whilst there with the very experienced Midhoo who was was awesome. We are truly grateful. Take some local currency and mosquito repellent !
