8 Jun 2026What a wonderful location, with fantastic folks and beautiful scenery. We were met warmly by Natasha then had a great meal in the restaurant while Dean regaled us with the local lore.
The scenery in the area is stunning, and it was so quiet and peaceful - just what we needed!

11 Jul 2026From the moment we arrived, we were treated as family. The property looks out over the water bringing a peaceful sense of calm. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. No detail was missed from complimentary water to a free breakfast.
Our host Dean, was personable, knowledgeable and honest. He even took us on a private boat tour to see the iceberg at King’s Point.
This hideaway is a hidden gem. It has been one of the best experiences of our road trip!

The Tickle room was very nice, fabulous breakfast. Again, did I mention the amazing morning view from bed!?
I would choose The Cove room for my future stays as it is more accessible and comfortable but either room is lovely.
I also understand they will be adding more features or amenities for this summer so stay tuned.

9 Nov 2025I had a great stay! I arrived and had a great dinner- Lasagna like my mom makes. The check in process was easy. The room was great and the bed was really comfortable. The room had everything I needed and there is a beautiful view of the harbour. The hosts are really friendly and helpful and Dean made a great breakfast before I took off for the day. Highly recommend visiting!

The owners went above and beyond. Their food was the best in the area. Really felt like home cooking. Made to order hot breakfasts!
Dean and Natasha truly made us feel like family.
Dean took us out in his boat to see the iceberg up close, and took us cod fishing!!! They also invited us to their family’s bonfire!
I would go back in a minute. Our room was immaculate, had a lovely view and was beautifully decorated.
We had a really great time. I cannot recommend them enough.

24 Jun 2026We spent one night in the Cove room and really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Dean is a fantastic host - very friendly and accommodating. We arrived later than expected, but he still opened the kitchen and made us a great meal, which we truly appreciated! He also made a delicious breakfast for us the next morning and shared stories and information about the area. The location is very quiet with beautiful views of the water. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others!
