2 Jun 2026Such a warm friendly welcome and stellar service. They welcomed us immediately and showed us how to access everything. As we had an early departure flight they offered us a breakfast to go bag which was so thoughtful. What a lovely location, and wonderful staff. We will be back!

16 Nov 2025Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast choices. Hotel inside was lovely, needs a bit of renovation on the grounds around the hotel. For the price of stay we were more than happy and would stay again.

29 Dec 2025Can I give this establishment 10 stars? I cannot recommend it highly enough! Stay in room B 827. The view is magical. The hotel (and room) is modern, stylish, chic and comfortable. So many vegan options at breakfast 🙏. Super friendly staff. Absolutely will stay here again and recommend to everyone I know.

1 Oct 2023Greta spa hotel couldn’t fault the facilities. Rooms were also excellent and the staff service. I would r recommend the food in the hotel far better and cheaper options 10 minutes away in Monchique

6 Jul 2024Very spacious suites, unfortunately we had carcass roaches in the bathroom, there were stones on the balcony from mowing the lawn, the pool was great and the breakfast was also great

11 Apr 2026We stayed here several times, and besides the service is always 5 stars from every staff, the room where we stayed ( B 820) needs repairs done.
Skirting boards broken, lampshades needed replacing, wall damaged and in need of a fresh coat of paint.
It's a shame. We love this hotel, but it does need a bit of look after.

1 Jul 2025Nice hotel with lovely staff and great facilities. It is showing its age and a little tired in some areas since our last visit 7 years ago. The hotel has changed hands and in new ownership. Pool and most areas were very clean and tidy. Dining options are limited and expensive so we dine elsewhere but the breakfast was plentiful and fresh.

8 Jun 2025Very quiet, relaxing and nice open spaces. We had a suite with patio/terrace and it was so nice - a great interior space with a mini kitchen with high end appliances and a giant exterior terrace with lounge chairs. I'd say the only negative was the truly terrible pizza at the on-site pizza restaurant. But that's easy to skip by driving up to Monchique for better food.

10 Oct 20252nd visit to hotel - lovely location & facilities. Service was not as good as before. We had booked dinner in the restaurant but had to leave within 10 minutes as no service. We headed to the bar & got servdd right away.

28 Jun 2025Love Monchique resort & spa, clean, staff are very welcoming especially Pedro the guest relations manager. Very big room with 2 bathrooms & a great view with a terrace. Full amenities in the room just missing a washing machine for the clothes. 2 pools & a gym with fitness classes. Beautiful surroundings, great hotel, I would definitely suggest it or even go back, thank you Monchique resort & spa, we loved our stay the Pereira family!
