A nice alternative to the airport hotels near LIN
Getting to this hotel by bus is the most challenging part. Take the 923 bus and it will drop you almost right in front for 1,60 euros but finding that information using the often derelict coins phones and the fairly incompetent information staff at the airport took some doing.
The friendly bus driver and welcoming staff at Hotel Segrate Centro made up for it all.
Apparently there is another hotel Segrate closer to the airport and with the same phone number so when I called I was told I could walk but when I looked at the map, it was a good 5 kms. I am glad by husband and I ended up at the Via Conte Suardi 42 hotel in the center of Segrate as it is a delightful small town with a vibrant town square.
The hotel itself is extremely clean and quiet - just what was needed before a long flight back home.

Very nice local B&B
We stayed here one night to be close to family that live a few streets away in Segrate, as well as the airport.
The room was very nice, clean and ready for us on time. It had a full kitchen (which we didn't use), a very nice bathroom, towels, bed was comfortable, but a little low. Closets were abundant. No English channels on TV available. No Wifi. For us, this was fine as we only slept there and did not spend any awake time in the room.
I would highly recommend.

Mi sono fermata solo una notte,ero insieme a clienti. Appartamento molto accogliente e ben arredato,posizione tranquilla.
Solo un problema ,non hanno voluto farci tre fatture per il pagamento della camera,dicendoci che avrebbero pagato troppe tasse...solo fatture al di sopra dei 100€!!!
