"The pools fed by the waterfall made Hotel Mercedes stand out from anywhere else. Be aware that bad weather can effect the use. There was torrential rains while we were there, the pools had to be emptied and cleaned, but the couple days being able to use it were worth it. There is some snorkeling under and beside the dock. Visibility is poor. Don't make snorkeling the reason you come. Staff was very pleasant , especially the front desk. "

"Charming property and a lovely stay, however a few things to note that could be approved upon. Firstly, the WiFi did not reach our room which also meant streaming on the TV was unavailable. Secondly, extremely low water pressure on the bathroom tap (almost non-existent) and shower difficult to control temperature. No kettle or iron provided in room. But overall, had a lovely stay at the property and the bed was extremely comfortable. "
