If you like firm beds, this is your place! The bed was the firmest I’ve ever slept on. Coffee was great. Quiet location, close enough to walk to the action.

Everything was fine, with no surprises; often a pinnacle of achievement in this environment. Staff were attentive and friendly. Accommodation was comfortable. Rooms were spacious. Amenities were nice.

A nice, clean hotel with pool. Only issue was poor wifi but this seems to be an area issue as many other places in Kampot weren't much better.
Staff are excellent and helpful, always with a smile.
A short walk to to many bars, restaurants and the river where most of the action is.
10 minute walk to the night market.

At first great then ok
The J Break Hotel was worthwhile. I was pleasantly surprised how accommodating, clean, large, well kept my room was. The location was more practical than I originally thought. A quick walk into the hubbub of town and beaches. What surprised me was the NO ROOM CLEANING during my stay, nor replenishing the potable water or towels, etc. The first day everything was very nice, the service very attentive but after the first night, there was a bit of a void… no longer offering me touristic info., etc. After first day, noone at Reception who spoke much english or french, etc. In general, it was OK and for the price, I’m not complaining. I initially thought of recommending it to friends who will be going to Kampot in a few weeks but now, not 100% recommendation if one is looking for more than a clean, well priced hotel.

Check-in um 12:00 möglich, Zimmer frei. Rezeption wortkarg. Schöne originale Kolonialarchitektur. Ohne Aufzug mit Koffer 2,5 Stockwerke hoch. Zimmer mit Bad auf 38qm + großer Balkon. Kingsize Bett mit 183cm Breite. Oh Schreck, das Deluxe Zimmer hat keine Glasfenster!!! Nur Löcher in der Wand, mit Holzläden verschlossen. Die Holzläden haben natürlich Fugen und Risse, damit Insekten ungestört herein können. Also Aircon und Tageslicht zusammen gibt es nicht. Ventilator gibt es nicht. Kühlschrank nicht gereinigt/glitschig/dreckig. Ich will meine Hände waschen - Handseife gibt es nicht. Ich will mich hinsetzen, die 2 Puppenhausstühle sind kurz vorm auseinander fallen und dreckig - ich traue mich nicht. Ich leg mich aufs Bett mit der viel zu harten Federkernmatratze und schaue auf eine Zimmerdecke voller Wasserschäden-Flecken. Fühlt sich alles nicht nach Deluxe für 42$ an.
Nach meiner Beschwerde bekomme ich ein besseres Zimmer mit Glasscheiben und weniger Flecken, plus einen stabilen Stuhl. Danke. Aber auch hier:
- Matratze zu hart. Rückenschmerzen.
- Bad ohne Abluft, es stinkt nach Kanalisation.
- Klimaanlage völlig überfordert, erst nach 24h richtig klimatisiert, muss aber durchgehend laufen.
- schöner Balkon, aber ohne Möbel.
- Safe defekt und nicht fest geschraubt.
WiFi war gut.
Kommen sie nur zum Fotografieren, nicht zum Übernachten!!!

Un boutique hôtel très bien placé, à proximité immédiate du centre ancien de Kampot. Il est propre, le ménage est fait quotidiennement. La literie est confortable et la chambre avec tout l’équipement nécessaire. La douche était malheureusement un peu bouchée. La piscine est géniale, ombragée dans la cour de l’hôtel. Le petit-déjeuner sous forme de formule était bon et très copieux. Le personnel etait aimable et attentionné mais ne comprenais pas toujours ce que nous disions en anglais.
