Couldn’t fault our stay from checking in to departure, room was clean well equipped smelt fresh, everything worked and the hotel had great meals just a short walk away, for the price even though it is very old (1960s) it certainly was value for money for an overnight stay on our way to Queensland, wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Clean room,quiet,wifi worked great, a bigger size fridge than those small bar fridge in other hotels,clean plates and cutlery provided very handy for toast in the morning even wine glasses ,electric kettle and a big toaster that can toast French baguette,good lighting with enough sockets to charge up our iPad etc etc a good overnight rest from our Gold Coast beach shack to Sydney we are elderly couple used to drive straight through on the lovely M1 not anymore because we think its safer at our age

Just had an overnight stay while travelling down the east coast. Room was spacious (although we had a family room as that was the last room available), bed was very comfortable and there was parking right outside the room. Pub next door was great (you check in & collect the key here) - not fancy, but friendly staff, and the meals were superb. We had both lunch and dinner in it. Would stay here again if I was stopping off in Taree.

Fabulous local country hospitality

Back to a visit to my school days growing up in a country town so Manning River Hotel Taree was great location to walk the delightful riverbank - walk the town and surrounds (I love walking!) and friendly local Hotel meeting the locals and great food I could take bk to my room - fabulous thank you from Jude
