Not as advertised
Awful room, no where near as described, paint peeling off the walls, light fittings missing with socks shoved in there. We didn’t even stay we left almost instantly

It was not as advertised. Was dirty, all furniture in the room was hanging off, said there were cooking facilities all that was there was a dirty microwave top of the stairs. There is a family living in 1 room downstairs with 2 maybe 3 kids that are loud and cry till gone 9 at night. I will never return here even if they gave me a week free. I have taken photos and I will add them

This property was hard to find and very poor. It smelled and had no towel, no TV, no closet, stains on the ceiling, and was a long way from Windsor city center to walk. I believe it was over a mile to walk when the website said 0.57 miles. I left after the first night.

Comfortable but could do better.
The room was lovely - big, bright and airy - and the beds were really comfy. However, some of the fittings were looking rather tired (torn curtains, flaking paintwork) and there were missing skirting boards. We also never found the switch for the lights in the bathroom! The cleaning wasn't very thorough - the inside of the fridge was dirty/stained and the drawers of the bathroom cabinet were awful. It was located in a nice area, which felt very safe and parking was easy. It's about a 25 minute walk into the centre of Windsor, although there is a convenience store a few minutes up the road, and a pub a 5-minute walk the other way, if you don't want to go into the town centre. The kitchen facilities are basic but fine if you just want to make drinks and heat up ready meals. Communication with the owner wasn't great - the property is actually listed by a third party so if you message via the website, you get bounced between them and the owner who wasn't very responsive. We had to ask several times for the key safe code to be sent over, which was a bit disconcerting given how rife accommodation scams are nowadays.
With a bit of financial input and attention to detail, this could be a really lovely place to stay, but at the moment some things are letting it down.

This is not a hotel - it is a room in a personal house. Despite showing private bathroom it isn't, cat food was stored in a broken wardrobe, there was no bedside table or lamp, and no fire door or smoke detector in room.
Owner's kids loud downstairs - it is not a good set up.
