Downtown Myrtle Beach
City centre Myrtle Beach delivers beachside thrills with a classic carnival twist. The iconic SkyWheel lights up the night sky while the 1.2-mile wooden boardwalk buzzes with street performers and arcade sounds. Families flock to Ripley's attractions and the roaring roller coasters at Family Kingdom. The wide sandy beach offers a perfect break from the neon-bright entertainment scene. Seafood restaurants and funnel cake stands fuel your adventures, with prices ranging from quick bites to oceanfront dinners. High-rise hotels and resorts line the shore, most featuring pools and beach access. The area is extremely walkable with seasonal trolley service making it easy to explore the sunrises and entertainment without needing a car.

The Dunes
The Dunes combines oceanfront luxury with legendary golf at the renowned Dunes Golf and Beach Club. Soak up rays on pristine beaches with fewer crowds than city centre Myrtle Beach. Take sunrise strolls along the shoreline, challenge yourself on championship fairways, or simply unwind in upscale holiday rentals with Atlantic views. Getting around is easiest with a car or golf cart, though walkable paths connect most resort amenities. Dining focuses on upscale seafood and steakhouse options within the community. For shopping and nightlife beyond resort lounges, a quick drive into Myrtle Beach proper offers endless entertainment options.

Arcadian Shores
Arcadian Shores combines pristine beaches with championship golf courses for the perfect Myrtle Beach escape. The renowned Arcadian Shores Golf Club anchors this oceanfront area where you can tee off in the morning and catch stunning Atlantic sunrises after your round. Beyond the fairways, quiet residential streets offer a peaceful alternative to downtown's buzz. The dining scene focuses on seafood restaurants and casual beachfront grills serving fresh Lowcountry cuisine. Most accommodation is holiday rentals and resort condos with ocean or golf course views. While public transit is limited, well-maintained roads make exploring easy with your own wheels.

Central Myrtle Beach
Central Myrtle Beach is all about that classic beach holiday vibe, no filter needed. The iconic SkyWheel lights up the bustling boardwalk while Ripley's attractions draw curious crowds. Ocean Boulevard buzzes with arcade lights and street performers, all just steps from the Atlantic's crashing waves. The beach scene is perfect for sunbathers by day and sunset-watchers by evening. Seafood dominates the dining landscape, from casual fried baskets to fancy oceanfront spots with she-crab soup. High-rise hotels and resorts line the shore with ocean-view balconies and pools. Getting around is easy with the free seasonal trolley, though most attractions are within walking distance of each other.

Golden Mile
The Golden Mile delivers the Myrtle Beach experience you've been dreaming about. Pristine sandy beaches stretch before towering oceanfront resorts while palm trees sway along well-manicured boardwalks. Families stroll past colourful mini-golf courses, upscale seafood restaurants, and rooftop bars with Atlantic views. Beach days blend seamlessly into nights filled with live music. Upscale accommodation range from luxury resorts to high-rise condominiums with rates from $150-400+ nightly. Most restaurants serve fresh seafood with ocean views, though reservations are recommended during summer. Getting around is easiest with a hire car, but the Ocean Boulevard corridor remains highly walkable.

Coral Beach Resort and Suites
"Great for families, I took my Mom and grandson and we all enjoyed it. They have lots of pools and I saw people of all ages enjoying them. The rooms were clean and the staff were courteous and friendly"
Crown Reef Beach Resort and Waterpark
"I was able to get there early and got my room facing the ocean, it was exactly what I wanted. The low points would be them charging $15 per night for parking! I cant remember any other hotel in all my travels that charge"
The Breakers Resort
"The suite at the Breakers Resort was very nice. The furnishings and kitchen appliances were fairly new. The suite was clean except for the small stain on one if the bedspreads otherwise everything else in the suite was nice. The maid service is practically nonexistent. I had to catch the maid in front of the elevator to get some trash bags, took out my own trash. The elevator is in a bad spot hard to get around in with the luggage carrier. Elevator is always wet and muddy and extremely hot, no air conditioner. The parking lot is across the street from the hotel. The small parking lot in front of the hotel is directly over a sewer and the awful smell gets inside your car while you're loading or un loading. This review is of the building called the Sailfish which is one of 3 buildings squeezed in between other hotels on what is called the grand strand. Staff was nice enough. Nothing extraordinary, answered questions when asked. The balcony was nice. Kitchen was nice new appliances. I had to buy a mattress topper for the bed, much pain after first night."
Westgate Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort
"Excellent service 👏"
Sea Crest Oceanfront Resort
"Our stay was great! We were right at the beach. We were very close to everything, Broadway at the Beach, Motown, Malls, Walmart, Golden Corral and list goes on, helicopter rides! Definitely a great time was had! I plan to come back next summer. The hotel is a little dated but good. Well, the carpet on the balcony needs to be replaced other than that it was fine. I didn't like the code for the TV."
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Myrtle Beach - N Kings Hwy
"Great service"
Compass Cove Resort
"The ocean view was great! The room was clean. We did have to get sheets for the hide away bed, but that was no bug deal. They were brought up right away! Staff was great!"
voco The Shelby - Myrtle Beach by IHG
"Staff friendly the rooms were clean however , a little touch up of painting would be great. I enjoyed my stay the only downside is that for purchases you either charge to your room or card . They do not accept cash “."

"2nd time here. All was good"
