The room was very clean and tidy, and they even provided fresh fruit and small snacks every day. They also offered airport pick-up and drop-off service, which was very convenient. Overall, we had a very comfortable and pleasant experience here.

8 May 2025Small new hotel, with small amount of facilities, but they offer all the key stuff. The wifi was great and the laundry facilities are fantastic and totally free. Much better than many big hotels.
Right above an excellent restaurant, good spot to try Sichuanese cuisine.

9 Nov 2025Really enjoyed my stay which was above expectations. The room is on the smaller side but definitely fine for one person and probably for a couple too. Everything inside the room seemed new and clean and in good working order. The location is super central, withing walking distance to the main attractions downtown. During the day the area is quite busy and a little noisy, but at night it quietened down and I had no problems sleeping. Plenty of good food options around too. Overall, very happy with the all aspects and would happily stay again.

18 Sept 2025The Merica Hotel Chengdu Changxi Road is an excellent value for the cost. Rooms with windows are very small. Rooms without windows are much larger, but do not offer any extra storage or seating vs rooms with windows. Easy walk to shopping, food, and several museums and park.

1 Aug 2026Quarto espaço e organização, a menina da recepção é muito gentil, tem maquina de lavar e microondas. Uns 10 minutos andando ate as lojas. Good space and organization; the receptionist is very kind, and there is a washing machine and microwave. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the shops.
