15 Oct 2026A very welcoming place that provided everything we needed for our stay.
The owners were most helpful and assisted with booking a taxi and providing food for our return journey.
We left feeling very relaxed.

13 Oct 2026Lovely hotel a 20 minute walk from the main hustle and bustle of Douglas. I believe there is a bus but we just walked it.
This meant a nice quiet night but still the convenient locale for a drink or restaurants. Helpful staff.
Really enjoyed our stay.
Comfortable warm rooms, really good breakfast.
Had a great stay. Really Close to the electric railway which takes you to the "top"
Top tip for IOM - if you are a member of either National Trust or English Heritage you get free entry to lots of museums etc

31 Aug 2026What a great find! Will definitely stay here again. Was greeted with a huge warm smile on arrival, met the family running the hotel. Everyone who worked here went out of their way to help and with a smile. Nothing was a problem. Room was great, clean and as described. Breakfast was the best I had in a long time with great selection. You won't be disappointed.

6 Jul 2026The staff we're lovely however we didn't stay in the end as the bathroom was mot in our room it was on the landing were there was also 3 other bedroom doors. There was no sockets in the bathroom and no mirror in the bedroom, so trying to get ready to attend a wedding was an impossible task. The staff understood my situation and help us find other accommodation as there were no other rooms available.

29 Sept 2026Booked 3 day's as a couple with a friendly dog.
On arrival we were greeted warmly by a staff member (apologies forgot the ladies name), who explained and apologised the apartment we had booked was unfortunately unavailable due to having unexpected maintenance. We were shown to room 4, very clean and well laid out. Although there were not the facilities of a self-contained apartment which we had booked, this room met all our other needs. This could happen at any property, and totally understand. We only mention this to show the management overcame an issue and resolved the problem to our (the customer) satisfaction. Job well done.
Good selection of tea/coffee/hot chocolate/biscuits and bottled water in the room.
Whenever we met the staff/owners they were friendly and attentive. There felt to be a nice caring atmosphere in this hotel.
We had breakfast on two days - day 1, continental x1 and cooked breakfast x1. Day 2, continental x2. Both continental and cooked breakfast were fresh/plentiful and good quality, enjoyed by both of us. Again staff were attentive, but not overbearing whilst having breakfast.
Would we recommend/stay at the Kings Hotel again? - YES
Thanks again to all staff, for enhancing our stay at the Isle of Man.

4 Jul 2026My friend & I arrived and Miriam was friendly and welcoming & allowed us to leave our bags, we were able to return within a couple of hours and Miriam accommodated an early check in as she ensured our room was prepared after we arrived on an early flight.
Our room (No.4) had been set up as a twin as per the request and was opposite the communal lounge, the beds were comfortable and everything we needed for our 2 night stay was available.
The King’s House provides, tea, coffee, hot chocolate & biscuits. Toiletries in the bathroom.
We did have breakfast onsite as we opted to eat out with other friends staying nearby & also around our plans over the weekend away.
We also had dealings with Lesley & she was friendly & helpful and it was good that Lesley was able to allow us a later check out as we had a later flight back on Sunday afternoon.
This was helpful as we could leave items in the room to come back & freshen up / change after our final morning of exploring.
The King’s House is located with views out onto the Promenade and we were able to get a bus to & from the airport easily.
Located in a convenient location to explore Nobles Park, where the TT takes place and also the main parkrun location on the Island.
We were also close enough to be able to explore Snaefell Mountain via the railway, experience the horse tram and take a trip on the steam railway to Port Erin.
Thank you Miriam, Lesley & the King’s House team, my friend and were comfortable during our stay.
