Cambria Landing Inn
Property is very dated and not as clean as expected, during COVID I would expect more. Fireplace did not work, killed a bug on the wall, Could not keep slider door open because screen was missing, not a huge deal. Girl at desk was very responsive and kind. Beds were comfortable and location was good. If you book front lower level room to get ocean view, just know that cars park in front for restaurant next door.

The location is great! Beautiful view. Right across the street is the beach and a nice and easy trail. The hotel is clean and all appropriate measures are in place. Staff is nice.

Photos very deceiving
The photo that was online and sent to me via email was very deceiving then the actual room I got. The restroom floor/ tile not clean. The toilet had water or dark stains in the toilet. The mattress was not comfortable. You can see the indentation on the mattress. Needs updating. For the amount of money I paid I expected a better quality room.

We enjoyed the location -- right across from the ocean. We enjoyed the fireplace in the room. However, our disppoinmentments of basic comforts were too many to leave in the dark. A big thing was -- we were disappointed in the condition of the hotel. It is old, needs to be upgraded. The carpets in the hallway were worn and frayed, the king bed mattress had grooves where people had slept -- one on each side, the bathroom door handle was broken, there was black hair in the shower. (We are both blondes.) Yuk.

The staff was nice, bed was comfortable, room was clean. The fireplace never worked asked front desk to fix but when we came back from dinner still not working. The heater is an old school metal furnace that would clang and the metal heated and then again as it cooled. Went on all night and woke us a few times. For the price expected a littlw more

Rested and Reconnected
We love Cambria and this was an amazing, restful, lovely place to be. This is an older property but you canbeat the location, the peace you feel or the coziness. We chose a jacuzzi suite. BEST. DECISION. EVER. My husband and I reconnected. Long walks on Moonstone Beach. Hot coffee in hand browsing antique shops. Lovely staff. So happy.

COVID-19 did NOT ruin it!
Covid-19 has ruined so much, and it was such a nice break to visit & just relax! Everything was absolutely PERFECT! and I especially loved seeing owners with their dogs! Another bonus to this place!
