6 Oct 2026My only issue was the Roku remote. You had to go thru a register process in order to watch TV or your Netflix. Kind of annoying. The lady who checked us in was very nice and helpful. It was a great stay for one night.

20 May 2026This hotel is basic but was great for my business stay. A larger fridge compared to a typical hotel was helpful to store lunch food for my workdays. The room was comfortable and reasonably priced.
The best part was the front desk staff! They helped find a missing case shipped in advance to their hotel. The shipper dropped it off at the wrong address. Some investigation by them helped track it down quickly! Their help made a big difference!!

Room spacious, comfortable and clean. Friendly check-in. We stayed there on Sunday night and it was difficult to find a restaurant open for dinner. Very convenient for Fossil Butte NM.

14 Jun 2025Small and old hotel that has been recently renovated. Wasn't perfect, but it was well stocked with soap, shampoo, clean towels, TP, etc. Beds were clean. Management was friendly. No breakfast at this motel, but we knew that at booking. Parking was adequate. For some reason hotels in Kemmerer are all rather expensive.

Just passing through and booked a room last minute because it was a pet friendly place. Arrived to find out there are pet friendly rooms. Being a motel with 14 rooms, my room was not "pet friendly". Had to pay $50 shampoo fee. This was not clear on website.

The room / bed / shower were great however the door lock was faulty and made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. We moved a chair in front of the door but didn’t feel like we could fully relax to sleep deeply.
We checked in after hours and got our door code over the phone - we actually didn’t see any staff at all as we left early the next day. That process couldn’t have been any easier. Other than the security lock it was a great stay.

everything in town is closed on Sunday except for Fossils stuff.
The rooms have everything that you need, the shower left a little to be desired, but it was a working shower. Really did enjoy the little Dove soaps. 💜
When we got to the property the woman at the front desk charged us $50 for a pet fee and then put another $200 on a card as a pet deposit.
I previously have read reviews where this has happened to other guests and they never got their 200 back so I gave her a card that I then immediately froze so she couldn't overcharge me too. This has been a running issue with I'd say 70% of all hotels I have been staying in. Constantly nickeling and diming, adding extra fees and then not returning funds and then telling you it'll be 7 to 10 business days in hopes that you forget that they overcharged you.
There are a little bit of safety concerns as all of the windows in my unit were open including two in the back, and I think I'm really that I didn't know were open until hours later. I don't know how often they change the code for the key locks outside of the units, also smoke detector that was beeping as the batteries were dying was left outside of another unit. It was left outside for multiple hours beeping until I pointed it out to staff and then they still didn't go directly to it.
