This is a very basic hotel property but very inexpensive and reasonable. Do not permit the lower rates mislead you. This is a nice and convenient location if you’re looking for lodging near Danville, VA.

4 Jul 2026We had to change rooms twice due to bed bugs. Rooms 107 & 111 both had them on the back bed by the bathroom. The young man at the desk overnight was very helpful and friendly. However when I checked out and said something to the owner, I assume, he acted like it was no big deal. Just said he’d tell his handyman. A handyman isn’t going to get rid of the bed bugs. We saw one of the rooms just had the beds remade when we left this morning. I’d stayed here before with no issues, but with two rooms infected, we will not be back.

10 Sept 2025It took a couple of minutes for someone to show up in the lobby at check-in. Never saw a person at check-out. Hotel was in definite need of repair, but the room was clean at least. There was supposed to be coffee in lobby, but there wasn't any at 8am

21 Jun 2026I found the Executive Inn in Yanceyville, NC to be fine for "road trip" accommodations. Staff was friendly, room was clean with adequate space.
Small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.
Quiet area with nearby grocery and some food options.
If you need a reasonably priced place to stay while passing through I would recommend.
If you're looking for a "resort" head to Caesars in Danville, VA.
I'll definitely choose the Executive Inn again.

3 May 2026Externally, the place looks rough. The outside steps could be a tripping hazard. The room was clean but smelled like a stripper (the air freshener). Bed was good.
Close to VIR - fine for crew, not your GF. Dominos, grocery and McD walkable.

22 May 2026Room was disgusting, walked in and a painting was broken on the floor behind one of the beds, cigarette butts under the bed and hair and discarded food in random spots.
This was a cheap stay but I think next year I’d rather go somewhere else than stay in this dirty ashtray.
