This property is beyond beautiful. Charming is the perfect name for the hotel. Everything was great - from the rooms and views, to the location and impeccable landscaping. The Charming Lodge is exactly that - charming! The location is wonderful. Close to town and easy access to other points of interest, as well. It is right on the lake and the views are breathtaking. Totally clean and wonderful property with spectacular views from the room and jacuzzi bathtub! The only imperfection was the occasionally slow service in the dining room where communication was sometimes a bit difficult.

Amazing, everything was better than I expected. The staff and services were superb. I will come back 100 times! The room was very spacious, with a private jacuzzi tub and a private sauna! Everything was clean. The mini fridge, electric kettle and microwave gave us a lot of freedom. On the days that we weren't hiking, we spent the day in the heated pool or going to the beach using the hotel's private entrance to the lake. Amazing in every way!

The location of this hotel is amazing and views are incredible. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. I think the in room spa is not as useful as a large up to date spa facility. The breakfast was very good. The disappointment was that their pool /hot tub area was not on par for a luxury resort. Plastic lounge chairs. Old hot tub that wasn’t hot enough. They could make a huge upgrade by fixing that.

A truly charming property. The staff at the reception and in the dining room was very helpful and nice, especially Alejandra. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of a variety of high quality items, including smoked trout. we had dinner there once as well and it was very good. An added bonus was watching the crested caracara at breakfast. We stayed in the master suite with our own steam room, jacuzzi, and dry sauna. After a long hike we really enjoyed the sauna. The view from our room and also from the dining room was unbeatable. The only negative may be the many stairs to get to some rooms for people who have difficulty walking. We definitely would go back to this lodge and recommend it highly. We are experienced travelers.
