Our room was a bit of hike up the stairs and no a/c, but it was a cute room and we were offered a fan to help beat the heat. Very nice staff and great location, the restaurant attached to the hotel is a must eat, best gnocchi I have ever had and our waitress Sheila was absolutely lovely.

Morcote is a world on its own - and the appartment is in the middle of it all with beautiful views of the lake and the passing cyclists and cars. Accommodation in Morcote is hard to find but well worth the effort. Spend time meandering up to the enchanting cemetery, or through the quaint narrow alleyways, or join the locals for an espresso and cornetto. Early mornings are magic, before everyone else wakes up.

There is no elevator and our room was on the third floor. One of the staff brought our luggage upstairs however next day we had a train in the morning for Como. Staff outright said there will be no one in the morning until 9 or 10 am to help bring down luggage. There is no taxi available and she insisted we take the bus to train station which was about 9 km . It was very frustrating as we are senior citizens. After a lot of back and forth she agreed to arrange and she did. The taxi driver would bring luggage down and drop us to the train station. We were told to tip him for that gave him 20 dollars. Taxi was over 100 dollars If you are not young please do not stay at this hotel…. It’s very inconvenient.

Vi ankom og ringte nummeret oppgitt. Ble tatt imot av e. Hyggelig ansatt som viste oss til leiligheten. Leiligheten var veldig fin med store vinduer og balkong med utsikt over innsjøen. Smakfullt innredet. Sengen var ok. Sovesofaen var veldig hard og vond å ligge på. Det var rent og pent på rommet. Badet var også fint, men der luktet det veldig dårlig. Aircondition er en gulvenhet med rør ut balkongdøren. Den fungerer, men bråker mye. Vi ble lovd frokost, men det var ingen der da vi kom ned om morningen så vi måtte kjøpe vår egen mat. Dumt at det står frokost inkludert på hotels.com når det ikke er realiteten. Vi bor gjerne her igjen, men kjøper da egen mat og så håper jeg de fikser lukten på badet.

Wir hatten ein wunderschönes, sauberes Dreibettzimmer. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage vom Hotel perfekt, neben Schiffstation und Bushaltestelle. Das einzig Negative, wir hatten ein Dachzimmer und es war so heiss, dass wir kaum schlafen konnten. Aber trotzdem, ich würde wieder dieses Hotel wählen...

Det ligger fantastisk og der er rigtig god plads. Men værten talte hverken engelsk eller tysk, så det var utrolig svært at kommunikere. Og der lå en seddel om, at hvis man benytter køkkenet det mindste, så skal man betale ekstra 50 CHF. Det er forkert ikke at få det at vide før man booker.

Zimmer sauber und funktional. Lage mit schöner Seesicht , aber direkt an der Strasse. Zimmer ist sehr hellhörig nicht nur Geräusch von der der Strasse, sondern auch Zimmer nebenan und darüber liegende Geräusche werden wahrgenommen. Es fehlt eine Verdunklungsgardine. Wir haben uns mehr erwartet. Schade ;(
