It had everything as advertised. Best value for where it's located. I had no issues with the room. If I go back to cedar point I'll be staying here again.

Was clean, everything worked except the tv. However it’s always a nice place to stay when in town. Staff is always nice and helpful. Seem to be working on improvements too.

6/10 Good

It is an older property but it was clean and at a rate reflecting that. And beds were comfortable. The problem was that the door didn't lock which they didn't fix but said they would keep an eye on with cameras. The TV didn't work which I didn't report since it was midnight. So if just wanting to crash for the night it was okay.

8/10 Very good

Seems that the owners are doing updates. Room was definitely clean, just no frills. Water pressure and temperature was amazing!!! Loved the large fridge, not a dorm fridge. Pool loomed amazing but we did not use it. We would stay again. Price was great and location great.

Very convenient location, good value, adjoining rooms were great for traveling with kids.

8/10 Very good

We stayed here for a quick night over after a cedar point trip. We checked in about midnight. Check in was quick and painless. The room was clean. You can tell its dated but the updates are nice. The onlu reason im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is for personal reason. There was only 3 pillows for my wife and I the showers head was pretty low for both of us being taller. The shower was hot and great pressure and the ac was cold! For a quick cheaper cost place near cedar point it was pretty good.

good size room nice fridge liked the idea of supporting small business but the Wi-Fi in the hall was great in the rooms by the bed dead zone son spent a lot of time in the bathroom because he could get Wi-Fi there

Clean room and comfortable bed, but the whole place needs updated. Stairs and balcony were in bad need of repair, you could feel soft spots all over when you walked
Verified review

Staff was friendly. Rooms are outdated but clean enough. I would stay the night again when we come back to cedar point.
Verified review

10/10 Exceptional

A very good place to stay on a budget if planning to visit Cedar Point, as it’s located not far from the park. About a 10 minute drive. So very convenient. Staff was very friendly. Definitely would stay there again if I go back.

No frills cheap hotel the rooms are clean but dated. The owner and staff are amazing every time I stay here. The pool area while plane is nice the water was clean and cool on a hot day. Can’t wait to stay here again you can’t beat the price

Very clean only complaint I have is at booking said had microwave and fridge. Had neither and no microwave to warm up food brought back after dinner. Air conditioning worked great! We will need our next hotel stay to have those things should we travel back. Or at least microwave available.

Older hotel, but clean bedding and towels. Staff was excellent.

10/10 Exceptional

I was very impressed with hotel Avalon. I was kinda worried when I booked as it was the cheapest cost in the area, however everything was better than expected by far. The room was very clean and the pool was really nice and clean. Don't go in expecting a 4 star hotel but for a 2 star hotel it is extremely nice. Definitely will be staying again as it is also extremely close to cedar point.

Mostly clean room. Bathroom especially the bath poorly maintained and a little dirty. Fine for just needing to sleep somewhere for the night. Staff nice and helpful. Property just very much in need of an update.
