Wonderful
Beautiful area, the cabin was all we needed, sink, fridge and utilities , four single comfortable bedrooms in room. Very lucky to have a view of the lake from our window between the camper vans sites in front. Very close to common areas of bathrooms kitchen etc. clean facilities even bbq to cook on. Highly recommend this property, Thank you.

Comfortable, clean, convenient. We enjoyed our stay. They have a very nice kitchen and gathering space, just be aware that if you need pans or bowls, cups or utinsels you might need to bring your own. Bathrooms and showers were clean, spacious and very convenient!

Right by the lake
an ok place but needs an upgrade and the walls are paper thin. the location is fantastic and right down to the lake and a short walk from the centre of town. kitchenware needs to be rented and the kitchen really need a cleaning. but all in all a nice place for the price.

Fantastic stay
Great location, 5 minutes from downtown, killer views of the lake, lots of walking trails and right down the road from a bird sanctuary. Great launching place to see Milford Sound and Fiordland National Park, plus the Te Anau Glow Worm Caves! Clean room, kitchenette was great, standard clean beds. Staff were welcoming, check in and out was easy.

Nice and calm stay
Space is beautiful, really close by the lake - we really only need to cross the road. The place is like a camping park, quiet vibes with a lot of families and groups of friends. Check in was nice and easy and you are aloud to bring the car inside of the park. Overall, it was a nice an calm stay.

Comfortable enough, nice walk to town
Night stopover for work, while comfortable enough, I felt like the nightly price was a little high (I travel a lot for work in the lower South Island ). I totally understand I was visiting for work, in peak hiking season and booked a week out, which definitely will have played its part. Demand pushes prices out. Bed was comfortable, and facilities wise there was enough to cook a meal etc. Good area, close to the lake and nice walk to town.

Best for family holiday
Great place to stay in Te Anau with families. We stayed a studio, a stand alone cottage, which has everything needed - simple kitchen, fridge, microwave. The laundry facility was particularly good - modern, powerful, reliable machines. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only comment I would make is Wifi - mostly slow and unstable. But I will return soon!

Inflexible policies and not a hotel
We didnt realize this was a hostel when we booked and found management inflexible in resolving our issue. Had to leave early with paying for nights not used. You wont know if you have issue until you check in and once you check in it is too late to change reservations. I think it should be clear this is a hostel and not a 3 star hotel as listed.
