Great location by the train station within walking distance of all amenities. Staff very helpful. Hotel is a little 'tired' but still clean and comfortable. Nice outdoor dining area for breakfast. Pool is lovely and quiet and a great area to relax in the sun.

Average hotel that doesn’t meet expectations
I would say the hotel needs to update their photos or update their facilities, because the pictures aren’t an accurate representation of the premises. I would say that a primary motivator for many is the outdoor lounge/pool area, however this area is filthy, to the point of looking derelict, and the pool is closed. I can understand that the pool being closed could happen for many valid (Covid-related) reasons, this should be stated in advance and ‘pool’ should be removed from the listed facilities and photos. This being said there is no excuse for the pool are to be kept in such a mess, making the place unappealing to even sit at. Also, the ‘car park’ is a shed with space for 6 cars where you have to leave your car keys at the reception and have hotel staff move your car around as the only way of parking is to block others. The hotel said that if there is damage they would take responsibility, but I’d love to see how that would play out in reality. This being said, it’s an inexpensive hotel, staff were fine, but just font get your hopes up.

Very good
Grand hotel is only a block away from the train station, and within walking distance to the city. There was plenty of parking in front of the hotel. The hotel has good WiFi and AC, which our kids really liked. Our only recommendation is breakfast, I would recommend that they include milk/cereal and a fruit instead of all packaged bread products.
