This hotel has a lot of potential. The recent remodel is beautiful with a modern, minimalist design, fresh paint, updated lighting, and one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve slept on. I appreciated the option to text for assistance.
Unfortunately, the experience didn’t match the appearance.
The parking lot is EXTREMELY tight, especially if you have a larger vehicle. Our room looked clean at first, but after showering we realized the textured floor was actually mud spots. The toilet barely flushed, the handle had to be lifted after every use, and the bathroom doorstop was stuck to the door and had an exposed nail that could easily poke someone, especially a child.
The A/C made loud knocking noises all night. There was no staff, no one behind the lobby desk except for snoopy guests.
Families should know the sink is outside the bathroom, making it easy to wake someone sleeping, and it’s mounted too high for young children. Although pet-friendly, there are very few grassy areas.
Communication felt impersonal. We received a message telling us to move a moving truck we didn’t own, then were told it had been sent to everyone. After checking out through the app, I still received instructions to lock patio and balcony doors... even though this hotel has neither.
Overall, the remodel and amazing bed weren’t enough to outweigh the maintenance, cleanliness, and communication issues. Fine for a quick stay, but I’d look elsewhere if traveling with kids
