12 Aug 2026We travel to Duluth often and unfortunately will not be visiting this property again. Location is a plus, within walking distance to many attractions. Our room was very disappointing. First, it smelled, smoke and must. It was not clean: dust on the end tables, hair on tables and in the shower, slimy brown gobs on the shower curtain, and a random Bobby pin on the carpet. We also booked a room for 3 people: one adult and two kids. The room was a queen and a sofa bed. There were no sheets for the sofa bed. We tried messaging the property two different ways with no response. My son ended up sleeping with a provided blanket and pillow, on a leather couch. We won’t return or recommend.

13 Nov 2025Loved the room! Super comfortable, and the view of the lakefront was stunning. Room was clean, and welcoming. I love the ease of the access, to the room. Only suggestion for other travelers is to prebook your parking, as it can be limited in the area.

4 Apr 2026Not a great place for business travelers. The room was good but everything else was a hassle. Code to get in building was wrong. The code to get in the room was wrong. Parking is a hassle as well. While trying to pay for parking on a website that doesn’t work, I got messages saying my car was going to be towed. There are way better places to stay in Duluth that aren’t a hassle. I will say the lady I had to call over and over was very nice.

12 Jan 2026It was a beautiful room. We didn't have a problem navigating the smart features. Getting in and out wasn't a problem. Parking was a bit of a trick as I am in a wheelchair. Again, we figured it out. We will definitely consider The Intrepid again. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

4 Oct 2025Location was ideal, parking was not as it’s extra per night. The unit was very clean except for some hair left on the shower wall. The main door to get in the building was sometimes a challenge to get the keypad to turn on. The view from the room was nice.
