Very spacious room and ensuite bathroom, with AC. Lovely fresh breakfast delivered to our room each morning. Parking available nearby at very reasonable rate. Fantastic location, directly opposite city walks and on the doorstep of Canterbury city centre. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Library of books available to borrow. Lovely courtyard garden. Restaurant at venue seems very popular.

We never know what to expect because hotel rooms both in and outside of London can be tiny and minimally equipped. We loved this hotel for the old worldly ambience and the spacious accommodation. The bedding was high quality and comfortable, and the staff warm and inviting. Highly recommend.

The room was super spacious and had a safe plus a mini fridge in the wardrobe. We had water, fresh orange juice and milk to use with the coffee and tea making facilities. The bathroom had a bath with shower.Our only negative would be to have a mind your head sign to enter the bathroom as my hubby is tall. We had a free continental breakfast which was delicious and certainly made a change from a full english. I would definitely recommend staying here as it was also a great location to see all the sights available in town
