Learn more about Riomaggiore
Candy-colored houses appear to tumble down the cliffside towards a tiny harbour where fishing boats bob like bath toys. The Via dell'Amore coastal path connects to neighbouring Manarola, offering views that explain why artists have been drawn here for centuries. Castle of Riomaggiore stands sentinel above the village, while Fossola Beach provides a perfect spot to cool off after exploring the steep, narrow lanes. Via Colombo bustles with cafes where locals sip the town's renowned wine produced from hillside vineyards. For the full Cinque Terre experience, hike the Sentiero Azzurro trail linking all five villages, pausing frequently to photograph vistas that seem almost too perfect to be real.

Alla Marina Affittacamere
"Andrea and his staff were very helpful. We had staff greet us at the station, help us with our luggages. The place itself is small but feels like home. Steep stairs so be careful. Close to the beach. Will stay in this hotel again. Highly recommended"
Scorci Di Mare
"The owners were great hosts and would do anything they could to make for a great stay. As with most or all properties in Riomaggarie there many steps. The views and food were great. You just have to accept extra effort. This would be very hard if handicapped. Lee"
Locanda Ca Da Iride
"Great location just inside ZTL at top of village with view over town to sea. Staff met us at barrier and assisted us to access and park (tight and $25, but v convenient). good dining options. 10 min walk to Via dell Amore. As temporary resident of Riamaggiore, our Cinque Terre hiking pass got us unlimited/unrestricted access to Via dell Amore. Nice hike over to Manarola and Corniglio with convenient train back. Excellent breakfast for small charge"
The Manarola Sea View
"Elevator was broken A/C to , but I got another room right away"
Hotel Il Saraceno
"Such a hidden gem! We wish we could stay longer and will definitely do so the next time. The hotel is up in the mountain, 10 min away from the Manarola bus stop, perfect location for a quiet and relaxing retreat, The bus runs every hour and is 2.50 Euro if you don't have Cinque Terre pass. Antonella was very kind, hard working, and amazing host who took care of everything we need. The hotel is meticulously maintained and breakfast was freshly made and so delicious. If you are wine lover (or not), make sure to visit Cantina Capellini - Agrivino for a stunning view. Definitely A++!!!"
Park Hotel Argento
"Simple mais très bien"
Albergo Palazzo Costa
"A clean quiet room. A beautiful hotel with high ceilings and marble stair ways. Not close to amenities, 5-10 minute drive. The hotel lacks a sign outside."
Arpaiu - Odeyo Sas
"We had a wonderful time."
Resort Costa Morroni
"Loved this property. So quiet and peaceful. Staff was lovely and very helpful. They recommended everything we needed to know about touring the area. They gave us a parking pass for the train station and recommended a good grocery store"
