27 Oct 2026It’s 100% excellent hotel. Cleanliness, car parking everything you need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was a delight, vegan options, small portions on request, excellent service. The member of staff who served was extremely helpful. Can’t fault our stay looking forward to visiting the hotel again.

27 Oct 2026Scottish hospitality at its finest. Check in was simple. Courteous staff, warm reception and continued care by the staff throughout our stay. Modern conveniences in a well restored building, with charm and character, matching the folks associated with the hotel. Even got to greet Gizmo, a wonderous, bright, intelligent dog. Breakfast was very good, varied daily selection specials, nice surroundings. We will come back....

. Ask for Monty and he will attend to your every need. I have known Monty for many years, a true gentleman.
The breakfast is spectacular, basicaly anything you want and in any combination.

There is a good selection of restaurants within walking distance for evening meals.

Breakfast was delicious and I think it was the owners at breakfast they were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you , my husband was impressed he went round with the coffee refilling up and it was hot .. breakfast was wonderful and arrived quickly and was hot ! I highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful stay ! X

Maybe some instructions on how to use coffee machine as an improvement.

27 May 2026The Townhouse is a beautifully restored building. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. We stayed in Room 6 which is sold as a suite. We had plenty of space and a lovely view to the hills. Bathroom was modern and clean. Large king size bed and plenty of seating areas. A luggage rack would have been useful allowing case to be off of the floor.
Breakfast was great and staff were very welcoming and friendly. There is adequate parking behind the accommodation.
We would definitely recommend and will stay again.
