Location was easy to find, with many good restaurants around. Staff generally don't have very good English and aren't willing to help unless you want to use their money exchange service. Room was not clean, sheets and towels were stained and marked to death. A/C was very cold, which was a positive; so was the free water provided daily. The beds weren't overly bad. Bathroom again not very clean and shelves damaged, but free toiletries were provided. Just your average budget hotel really, you get...

We stayed 3 nights at Residence Bassac which we really enjoyed. The hotel is perfectly positioned for the Champasak region and all it has to offer.
