The proprietor was extremely welcoming and friendly. He offered us a beverage and snack at check-in and the process was super smooth. The rooms were clean and comfortable. And the pool was great! 50s era motel nicely renovated. Beds were very comfortable, unit was very clean. Nice location for trips to the local wineries and dining establishments. Front desk clerk was very friendly and professional. The only downside was that the internet was spotty, so probably not the optimum spot if you need to work on a computer. Overall great place to stay and the price was very reasonable. We would definitely stay here again

It's under new ownership and they are completely renovating every room and all the outdoor areas. It's really nice, the bed was comfortable they had good coffee and real hard boiled eggs they make everyday. Steve, one of the owners, was really nice and has been in the area for a long time so he knows a lot of places to go to. We will definitely stay here again. The price was well worth it, half of what others places in the area charging.

I walked into the lobby and was greeted by THE MOST hospitable and loving couple! They acted like they had been awaiting my arrival like long a lost child! LOL They were sincerely caring about me, my stay, what I needed, how they could help, etc. I was shocked and blown away. I don't know if I'll ever be up in Jackson, CA again, but I will ABSOLUTELY stay here again. It was quiet, clean, and I felt so welcome. THANK YOU, wonderful hosts who I don't even know your names! Steve greeted me at check-in and made me feel welcome and appreciated. I travel a lot for work and always stay at the least expensive place I can find unless it has REALLY awful reviews. Having a friendly and welcoming face after a long drive is getting less and less common and I really appreciated it. The room was spacious and immaculate, having just been redone. The shower curtain rod could stand to be replaced, but honestly that's my only critique of the property. I will definitely stay here again.
