Cute place with lots of charm. All of the amenities you could think of. Its an old building so keep that in mind if spiders find you while relaxing watching TV. Great location within walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants. They thought of everything!

It was a good stay - we never dealt with staff/owners. We were able to get in with a door code. It was like a little apartment- it was clean. It had everything you could think of while away from home. The towels were very nice. It’s pet friendly so did have some dog hair here and there. Beds were ok - good enough for a hotel. The only issue was the parking spot for our room didn’t work well for my Yukon - difficult to get in and out of with having to back up and go forward several times. Very quiet and within walking distance to everything. The hill walking back is very steep - is not for the weak or out of shape!!

Everything a person needs is available. We stayed at the Yellow Room which offered 3 separate beds... 1 queen in a room, and two twin beds in another separate room. Walk up the stairs from the outside. Electronic key pad for entrance is handy. Very good communication from the owner.

This room has received a lot of attention by the owners down to the little bottles of coffee provided, the soap dispensers in the shower & the tv instructions. The electronic door lock worked great. The communication was fine. Most of all, the room is just a block off of the Grand Marais main drag. It’s all packed in very nicely.
