First the good: the property is very cute, the rooms are really nice and the pool and jacuzzi are pretty.
Now the bad: we arrived late and a group had pulled in before us. Turns out it was one of the staff with her friends. We were checked in as we walked up, and quite casually. We went to the room and after a long day wanted to sleep.
Apparently the staff decided to have a party and for the next 3-4 hours they inhabited the pool with super loud drinking and music and laughing. If we had more energy I would have gone down and asked for them to be quiet or maybe joined in, but it was a constant annoyance.
In the rules, it says no parties and quiet time is at 10pm…this started at 11 -3am. Totally disrupted our sleep.
The next morning we woke up and showered and the shower head was ruptured and shot hot water all over the place. We packed and left. As wel walked to our car, the trash and empty whisky bottles were still left at the pool.
Gross. It could have been a high score but bad management and sloppy maintenance blew it for us.
