We stayed for one night before getting on a cruise. The staff was fantastic! We had drinks and dinner in the bar that were very good! The room was very clean and had just what we needed for an overnight stay. It was nice to have a short walk to the cruise terminal the next morning.

The restaurant was very good. They provided helpful information about the local breakfast options, which were few, but we were able to get breakfast both days. Nearly everything was within walking distance including gift shops and alternative food options.

Clean room. Wonderful staff. Blinds need to be replaced. Had a fantastic view but blind wouldn't go up so didn't have an unobstructed view. When I had an issue with the bill it was corrected immediately so appreciate the quick response. Food excellent in the restaurant. Would definitely stay there again.

The room view is awesome. The food in their restaurant is tasty. The only thing is that the boiler was out of order in the night we stayed. We got a partial refund after we gave feedback to the platform.

Inn at Whittier is being remodeled. Rooms are good size and some amenities are still needed in the room, But the staff is helpful and got us whatever we needed. The views are gorgeous. The location is most convenient if you are taking a cruise or hiking around. I would stay there again.

Loved the location, staff and property. No black out curtains, only shades which was hard in June as it never got dark! Also no mini fridge, but they were generous with ice.

The best part about this hotel was the restaurant. The food was very good and it's one of the highlights of our trip. Get the burger and fries! The room was clean and comfortable. I liked that the window was able to be opened. The room was modest but clean and comfortable. I'd definitely stay there again.

Room was clean, comfortable and very nice. Views of the bay were beautiful!!! Restaurant service and food were excellent! Only negative of the stay was the temperature in the room was a bit warm and thermostat didn't appear alter that state. We countered by sleeping with the window open and problem solved! Beautiful room and stay!

Location location location. We had a double bed x 2 with views to the sound and marina. Very new and refurbished. Could not fault. Views were magnificent and located right next to the Whittier cruise terminal.

Down sides, no one at desk before 11 am. No breakfast available. No daily room service, shower while tiled nicely, lacked shelves or a niche. Up sides, beautiful views, very nice room, food was good , staff was nice.,very convenient location to ships and trains.

Great location and friendly staff. Only issue was there's no one there in the morning so you can't ask anyone about storing your luggage before the checks in time. Other than that all was good, WiFi, drinks, food, service on the bat and restraints. The bar tender even leant us some bear spray to take on a home.

Need : Tissue box in room Add hook on back of bathroom door Bath mat in bathroom Staff needs training on local information Eg breakfast options, shuttle to cruise dock ( staff said shuttle every half hour Waited 1 hour and no shuttle Front entrance needs trash can ( hotel has card board box for trash ) Heat in guest room does not work well Add tea to guest room amenities

A lovely Inn right next to the cruise port and across the street from the Alaska Railroad. We walked from the train to our Inn and from the Inn to our ship in the morning! The bar and restaurant on premises was great. We have beautiful views of the harbor while eating dinner. The rooms have all been remodeled recently. The bedding and bed were so comfortable! We stayed the night before our cruise which was the best scenario. We were already in Whittier for our cruise the next day. We got on board before noon and had the entire day to unpack and enjoy the ship while others were still arriving in town all day long. ONE SUGGESTION - the rooms need a full length mirror. The only mirror in the room was a small one, mounted high up in the bathroom. Put some mirrors in the actual rooms!

This Inn has been closed for a few years due to a flood so I think they’re just not quite up and running. Our room had no garbage can, no bath mat, no hair dryer and grossly soiled sheets that were quickly changed and the hotel charge was reversed. The lobby bathroom had no hand soap and a full waste basket. The restaurant is decent but offers no morning coffee. Coffee and breakfast are at a little place in front of the hotel. It was very good. The owner is really wonderful and was very apologetic and helpful. He even had a staff member take us to the cruise terminal. I hate to give it 3 stars because I’m sure it’ll improve.
