10/10 Exceptional

The hotel is newly renovated and very nice, with delicious dishes and friendly service. The rooms and facilities are modern and comfortable. However, having a car is highly recommended. The hotel is located in a quiet area, and the shops, restaurants and most of the famous attractions are quite far away. Public transport options are also limited. Overall, a great choice if you are looking for a peaceful stay and plan to explore Crete by car.

We were in the split level suite, this was a great room overall but during the heat peak of August the AC unit was positioned favouring the main living area and not high enough to reach the bed on the mezzanine. I would recommend not staying in the suites during peak summer. Thebhotel needs to adjust the position of, or add another, AC Unit.

2/10 Poor

The toilet seat was broken, and we had to wait half a day for it to be fixed. The Wi-Fi was terrible, and we couldn’t get a 5G signal at all. The soundproofing in the room was awful. On our last night, a couple staying in the room above us were fighting and shouting, waking us up at 4 a.m. We informed the manager, but he was unable to resolve the situation. As a result, the noise, shouting, and arguing continued, and we weren’t able to fall back asleep. Since it was our check-out day, we asked if it was possible to extend our stay in the room. The manager said they could only extend it by one hour, which wasn’t helpful. In the end, our entire day before the flight was ruined because we were exhausted from the lack of sleep. A few more downsides: It takes more than an hour to get to Chania from the hotel, and the bus is usually overcrowded. There are no shops nearby. On the positive side, the area is very peaceful, the beach is within walking distance, and the food offers a good variety to suit different tastes. Other than that, it’s pretty much the same as any standard all-inclusive hotel.

Hôtel propre et personnel sympathique. En revanche le all inclusive ne sert à rien. Les cocktails sont fait avec une machine, servis dans des verres en plastique. La nourriture est mangeable, sans plus. En Grèce dans une taverne typique, avec vue la mer et une bonne bouteille de vin, une addition pour 2 revient à 50 euros. Il vaut donc mieux payer un hôtel moins cher et se payer un vrai restaurant. J'ai profité d'une baisse de tarif à 1000 euros au lieu de 2400 pour 7 nuits. Clairement 1000 euros c'est encore trop cher.
