This barn conversion is quite spacious, including a large entrance hall downstairs where you can leave wet and muddy gear if you get soaked in the rain like we did. The decor is a little tired in places, but overall it is a clean and comfortable place to stay. We appreciated there not being an additional fee for bringing a dog. The location is good, just a short walk from the centre of Dolgellau, with plenty to do in the local area. However, the map pin we were sent directed us to the north side of Bala Road, and we would not have found the place without the help of a friendly local taxi driver. There we no recycling bins, as mentioned in the handbook inside, so we ended up taking our recycling with us. We had a good stay in the barn.
